Professional Statement

  • Dr. Azar Boujaran is a general dentist with special emphasis on cosmetic procedures. Dr. Boujaran is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry as well as American Dental Association. She is also an alumni of The Kois Center of advanced dentistry through science.
  • Dr. Boujaran graduated from Queens College Cum Laude with a major in Biology and a minor in Anthropology. She then attended New York University School of Dentistry. During her time at NYU she was chosen to perform an externship at the Panum University in Copenhagen, Denmark. She was then selected for a residency at the Kings Borough Jewish Medical Center.
  • Dr. Boujaran continually strives to be on the cutting edge of dentistry both from a technical skill level as well as a personal level. She believes that treating teeth is only part of the whole dental picture. The bigger and more important part is treating the patient as a whole and giving patients a positive overall experience. She strongly believes in creating a dental team to offer the highest quality and technical dentistry available. Creating a positive dental experience no matter what the patient has experienced in the past. To this end, she has completed the Level 1 Continuum at the Pankey Institute and is the founder of the Tooth Fairy Studio. She is also certified in Conscious Sedation.
  • Dr. Boujaran started the Tooth Fairy Studio with the idea that creating a positive dental experience starts at the youngest possible age. Children should not have a fear of going to the dentist which manifests itself throughout their life. Rather, she teaches children how to care for their teeth in a fun and exciting environment. We are in-Network with most insurances, and accept all PPO insurances.
