Alex Gometz is a premiere Doctor of Physical Therapy and Triathlete practicing mainly on the Upper East Side of New York City. Gometz is a graduate of the New York University Physical Therapy Program and Sage University Doctorate program. As the current president of EastSide Rehab, Prehab USA, Ayrsley Town Rehabilitation in Charlotte, North Carolina, Gometz opened the first Prehab Center in the United States. Gometz created the trademarked injury prevention technique for The Prehab Network and has recently presented injury prevention lectures at Montefiore Hospital and Hospital Special Surgery. He was featured in articles for both the New York Times and Newsday. Gometz has extensive experience in neuromuscular rehabilitation, kinesiology, differential diagnosis, movement disorders, and sport injury treatment.
