Andrew Casden is an experienced orthopedic surgeon serving his patients in New York City. Dr. Casden is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, and the Scoliosis Research Society. Dr. Casden is affiliated with the Mount Sinai Hospital, where he is an attending physician of spinal surgery and an associate professor or orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Casden received his medical education from the Cornell University Medical College. He completed his surgical internship at the New York Hospital at the Cornell Medical Center. He followed this training with an orthopedic residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute. Dr. Casden completed his spine fellowship at the Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Casden specializes in treating herniated discs, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, and degenerative spinal diseases.
Dr. Casden has been named one of New York Magazine’s Best Doctors, in addition to his title as Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors.
