Dr. Butts completed his undergraduate studies in Biology/PreMed at Harvard University where he earned All American honors on the Men's Swimming Team. After a year of clinical outcomes research at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Dr. Butts received his doctorate at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed his postgraduate studies as a resident at The Mount Sinai Hospital Podiatric Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Butts is board qualified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot & ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Butts treats all podiatric problems and has a passion for sport medicine injuries; particularly in runners. Dr. Butts knows the latest running training techniques and shoe technologies. Dr. Butts is also well experienced in surgical techniques for plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis, including TOPAZ coblation, cryosurgery, extracopreal shockwave therapy, and platelet rich plasma injections.
