After graduating Andijan State Medical School in Uzbekistan, Dr. Dmitriy Yadgarov completed a 3-year Internal Medicine Residency Program at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY. Dr. Yadgarov was trained in pulmonary and critical medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Subsequently he pursued training in sleep medicine at New York Medical College, Sleep Disorders Institute in New York, NY- one of the largest and the oldest such fellowship in the country.
Dr. Yadgarov is a member of The American College of Chest Physicians, The American Thoracic Society, and American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Yadgarov has conducted research projects and published in the field of sleep and pulmonary medicine.
Dr. Yadgarov specializes in treatment of Bronchial Asthma, Bronchitis, Pneumonia, Chronic Cough, Seasonal Allergies, Smoking Cessation, early detection of Lung Cancer and other diseases of the lung. He skillfully performs a variety of non-invasive and invasive procedures such as Bronchoscopy and related biopsies, Laryngoscopy, Thoracentisis, Pleurodesis, Endotracheal Intubation, Ventilator Management, and other related procedures.
