Eileen DiFrancesco, MD, graduated from University of Pennsylvania with honors and completed her medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). She is licensed to practice in the state of New York. Dr. DiFrancesco completed her residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC.
As Medical Director of the Learning Laboratory in Stamford, Connecticut, Dr. DiFrancesco specialized in diagnosing and treating Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and teen addiction, using a form of Quantitative EEG, also known as "Brain Mapping". She also worked at Rockefeller University, Cornell and New York hospitals, treating drug and alcohol addiction.
Dr. DiFrancesco has been in private practice for over 13 years in the New York City area and sees patients of all ages – from children to the elderly.
As an integrative psychopharmacologist and psychiatrist, Dr. DiFrancesco leverages the latest in diagnostic technology to balance nutritional deficiencies, test for food allergies and intolerances, balance brain chemistry, thyroid and adrenal issues alongside more conventional treatments.
