My aim is to provide the kind and thoughtful care from which I believe patients benefit most. As a Johns Hopkins/Columbia/UCSF/Cornell-trained, board-certified psychiatrist, psychopharmacologist, and psychotherapist, I have specialized education in the diagnosis and treatment of a range of concerns, including:
• mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorders)
• personality disorders
• anxiety disorders
• attentional difficulties
• relationship and career impairments
• adjustment difficulties
• low self esteem
Beginning with a careful evaluation, we'll consider how I can be most helpful, working together to develop a personalized treatment that may include medications, talk therapy, or both.
In addition to my work in private practice, I am on the faculty of Weill Cornell Medical College and a candidate at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research.
