I am a board-certified psychiatrist providing care for individuals struggling with anxiety and ADHD. I employ an integrative approach in providing psychiatric care, blending complementary and alternative therapies that have scientific evidence establishing their safety and efficacy with psychotropic medications and psychotherapy to target one's symptoms. Therapies I utilize include various forms of well-studied breathing, nutrients, herbs, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness techniques. This approach provides those who are unable to tolerate psychotropic medications, or are fearful of starting them because of their significant side effect profiles, with treatments proven effective for their conditions. My goal with all individuals is to minimize the amount of medications needed or, if possible, eliminate them all together.
