Dr. Jonathan Leung completed his medical school training at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, New York in 2003. He subsequently completed his Residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Upon graduating he obtained his board-certification through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). He holds a New York State License in Medicine and Surgery along with a license to perform Acupuncture in the State of New York.
Dr. Leung also practices in Manhattan with his father, Ching S. Leung M.D.,F.A.A.P.M.R., who is the first Chinese Physician to open a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation private practice in lower Manhattan. With more than 40 years of combined experience, they have successfully treated over 18,000 patients. In addition to seeing patients at his Manhattan office, Dr. Jonathan Leung is a Clinical Instructor at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. He maintains a hospital affiliation with New York Downtown Hospital. Dr. Leung is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R), New York County Medical Society (NYCMS), Chinese American Independent Practice Association (CAIPA). Chinese American Medical Society (CAMS) and Association of Chinese American Physicians (ACAP).
