Joseph Ghassibi is an accomplished and dedicated internist specializing in pulmonology, sleep medicine, and critical care in New York City. Dr. Ghassibi is multilingual, speaking English, French, Spanish, and Arabic. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Sleep Medicine, and he is certified to provide critical care medicine and treat pulmonary disease. Dr. Ghassibi is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American Thoracic Society.
Dr. Ghassibi attended the American University of Beirut’s Faculty of Medicine to receive his medical degree. He attended the same institution to complete his medical internship and internal medicine residency. Dr. Ghassibi additionally completed an internal medicine residency at the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, where he completed his critical care and pulmonary fellowship. Dr. Ghassibi serves as an assistant clinical professor of medicine at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons. He welcomes patients that require services such as pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy, and narcolepsy evaluations.
