Lauren is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who holds a Master's Degree in Nutrition Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and specializes in sports nutrition, eating disorders, and weight management.
She received her clinical training at the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York State Psychiatric Institute, and Mary Manning Walsh Home, and gained extensive experience as a counselor and educator through her time at Columbia Athletics Sports Nutrition, La Palestra Center for Preventative Medicine, and Cornell University Cooperative Extension. Previously, Lauren worked as a Research Intern at the New York Obesity Research Center and as a Nutrition Educator at the Harlem RBI program, where she taught a hands-on approach to healthy eating to inner-city youth. She spent several years as the Nutrition Consultant at Reebok Sports Club/NY, where she counseled a wide variety of clients - from high performance athletes to weekend warriors - to help them achieve their health and fitness goals.
