Louis Peter Re Jr., MD is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon practicing at Roosevelt and Lenox Hill Hospital. He is fellowship trained in Sports Medicine and specializes in Treatment of Shoulder Injuries, Including Arthroscopic Repairs and Reconstruction. His office practice includes the use of specialized in-office Diagnostic Ultrasound. PRP Injections are available for appropriate patients.
He completed his Residency at Yale University School Of Medicine in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, and Fellowship at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute, Los Angeles. He is recognized for his work on several research projects involving shoulder and knee reconstructions.
He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and Clinical Instructor, Shoulder Reconstruction and Arthroscopy St. Luke's-Roosevelt Medical Center.
Dr. Re is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American College of Sports Medicine.
