Dr. Tham Metz is a board-certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist. She earned her medical degree through the Union College-Albany Medical College 7-year program. She completed her residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was awarded the Chief Resident Laparoscopy award and became a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at NYU and an Assistant Professor at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Tham Metz is a published author with interest in polycystic ovarian syndrome and minimally invasive gynecologic procedures. Her love for obstetrics leaves her open to many different birthing options and she is an advocate for a more holistic approach to childbirth and global maternal-child healthcare access.
Dr. Tham Metz is interested in building long lasting relationships with her patients and hopes to foster clear communication and trust. As a mother of two small children, she works hard to balance the demands of motherhood and patient care.
