Peter Distler is a dedicated and friendly internist who specializes in gastroenterology. Dr. Distler is currently providing care to his patients in New York City. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine to practice gastroenterology. He is also a long-time member of the American College of Physicians and the American Gastroenterological Association.
Dr. Distler attended Boston University to receive his medical degree. He then pursued his postdoctoral training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and the Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Distler then completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University with the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center.
