Professional Statement

  • Rebecca serves as the Director of Recovery Physical Therapy, PC’s facility at 248 West 80th Street in Manhattan. She is Board Certified by the American Physical Therapy Association as a Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. She earned both a Master’s Degree and Doctorate in Physical Therapy, both from Boston University. Determining the best treatment and prevention of “runners knee” or patellofemoral pain syndrome was the research focus for her Doctorate . She is committed to continuing education and participates in journal article reviews, attends symposium’s on the latest surgical techniques and treatment interventions, and completes courses to enhance her practice.
  • Rebecca combines 13 years of clinical experience, knowledge of current research and practice concepts, to provide the highest quality, individualized physical therapy possible to her patients. Areas of professional interest includes, Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Manual Therapy, Neck and Spine Rehabilitation, Pre/Post-Partum Physical Therapy, Injury Prevention, Return to Sports, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Post-Concussion Management, and Falls Prevention.
