Richard Cerniello has over 19 years experience as a physical therapist.
He graduated New York University " magna cum laude " receiving a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.
He earned the "Honor's Scholar Award" for academic achievements in physical therapy.
He worked 7 years with Hospital for Special Surgery's out-patient clinics, where he became an expert in treating orthopedic injury's and skilled in progressing post-operative patients in their physical therapy rehabilitation.
Richard performed home care physical therapy with Visiting Nurse Service for 7 years gaining expertise in Geriatric therapy. At Visiting Nurse Service he mastered the special needs in balance and functional training the elderly population require.
Richard's continuing education is extensive in Orthopedic rehabilitation and functional training.
He studied under the grandfather of functional therapy Dr. Gary Grey.
His clinical skills of evaluation and designing proper treatment programs have lead to very successful outcomes.
