Dr. Sheeraz Qureshi is an orthopaedic surgeon treating patients in New York City and the surrounding communities. His primary goal as a practitioner is to ensure that his patients receive the highest available quality of orthopaedic care. He holds certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Qureshi also serves as an associate professor of orthopaedics at the Mount Sinai Hospital and as Chief of Spinal Trauma at the Elmhurst Hospital Center.
In order to pursue his medical degree, Dr. Qureshi attended the Tufts University School of Medicine. He continued his medical education at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Here, he received his residency training in orthopaedic surgery and served as Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Qureshi has also completed a fellowship program in spine surgery at Case Western Reserve University.
Patients visiting Dr. Qureshi can receive a full range of orthopaedic services. His areas of clinical focus include spinal fusion, spinal stenosis, chronic neck pain, cervical myelopathy, neck fracture, and lower back pain. In addition to his practice, Dr. Qureshi has produced numerous publications and presented research at national meetings.
