Dr. Sumit Mittle obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and earned a medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He went on to a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease, both at North Shore University Hospital-Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Mittle has authored several medical journal articles. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin and American College of Physicians.
