Dr. Susan Shin is a neurologist treating patients in New York City and the surrounding communities. Her primary goal as a practitioner is to ensure that each of her patients receives the highest available standard of neurological care. Dr. Shin holds certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is also affiliated with the Mount Sinai Hospital.
In order to pursue her medical degree, Dr. Shin attended the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Following an internship in internal medicine at the Stony Brook University Hospital, she continued her medical education at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Here, she received her residency training in neurology and completed fellowship programs in clinical neurophysiology and neuromuscular medicine.
Patients visiting Dr. Shin can receive a full range of neurology services. Her areas of clinical focus include polyneuropathy, electromyography, electrophysiology study, limb dystonia, motor neuron disease, and post-stroke spasticity.
