After earning his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1993, he began his post-doctoral training with an internship and residency in general surgery at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in Manhattan. This was followed by a second residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the prestigious Medical College of Virginia/ VCU, and culminated in a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at Barnes Hospital/ St. Louis Children’s Hospital- Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.
Dr. Sabry started his career in academia. As a faculty member at Saint Louis University, he trained plastic surgery residents and held the distinguished position of Section Chief of Plastic Surgery and Director of the Cleft and Craniofacial Deformities Institute at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
