Dr. Horta-Santini attended the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where he received his medical degree, and also completed his residency in ophthalmology. He then finished his fellowships in glaucoma at Tufts University. He completed his internships at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. Dr. Horta-Santini is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is an active member of the Bronx County Medical Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Pan-American Association of Ophthalmology, and the Sociedad Puertorrriqueña de Oftalmología. Dr. Horta-Santini is committed to helping his patients enjoy a healthier lifestyle. He works with each one to discuss ways they can make better choices for their health.
