About Dr. Julia Kim

Dr. Julia Kim is an insightful, thorough optometrist treating patients in New York City and the surrounding communities. Her primary goal as a practitioner is to fit her patients’ visual needs and make them happy. She holds certification from the American Board of Optometry. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Kim attended the State University of New York to pursue her medical degree. She completed her doctoral degree in optometry at the university’s College of Optometry. Dr. Kim keeps her practice up-to-date through seminars and conferences including the Vision Expo, Envision New York, and lectures through the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians. Patients visiting Dr. Kim can receive a full range of eye-care services. She provides general consultations, eye emergency visits, and fittings for contact lenses and eyeglasses. Treatment is also available for issues including allergic eye problems, eye infections, dry eye, allergic eye problems, and cornea problems. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Kim enjoys reading, swimming, tennis, and spending time with her family.
