About Dr. Stephen E Small
Dr. Small earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction and Honors while being in the scholars program at Penn State University. He then went on to earn his medical degree with honors at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). He completed a 5 year general surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Stratford. Dr. Small achieved the highest score nationally for the surgical in-service exams multiple times while recognized and awarded for clinical skill, research and leadership. Dr. Small went on to complete an intensive one year burn and reconstructive surgery fellowship at New York Medical College, Valhalla. He furthered his plastic surgery training with two additional years as resident and chief resident at Ohio University, South Pointe.
