About Dr. Sylvia Mohen
Sylvia Mohen is a thorough and detail-oriented neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist working in Oceanside and New York, NY. She graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She then interned at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, where she also completed her residency in neurology. Dr. Mohen continued on as a clinical neurophysiology fellow on the EEG and epilepsy track. She is board-certified. Dr. Mohen treats patients with cognitive issues, multiple sclerosis, movement issues, Parkinson’s disease, TMS, and seizures as well as other nerve-related issues. In her time away from work, Dr. Mohen enjoys piano, painting, marble sculpture, running, and the opera. She is proficient in French. She has volunteered with several initiatives for treating vision problems in impoverished areas of Winston Salem and India.
